#8 Join with others to change the money system from a private profit business to a public benefit utility by joining The Alliance For Just Money, monetaryalliance.org, a member group of the International Movement for Monetary Reform. And the Green Party of the US is the only political party with this in its platform. We seek to shift the paradigm from greed to care by changing the 'first cause' of money. Money, outside of whatever currency represents it, is an abstract social power embodied in law as an unconditional payment system. It is always good to meet people who see the how the system works and why it must be changed.
