And it would make sense to see ecosocialists, green progressives (realos), and the more-transformational bioregionalists (fundis) co-existing under the Green Party umbrella.

Indeed it would be a good thing but so far it seems the socialists are more about taking over the party than they are about uniting it at all. They have been appropriating the Green Platform as they insist on calling it "eco-socialist" despite the fact that Greens have always advocated social justice along with ecological wisdom but socialists are attached to the name and the myopic and somewhat insular socialist histories For instance not acknowledging the role of western capital in funding the Bolshevik Revolution and the level of controlled opposition represented by DSA. They want to ditch Green and believe that Americans are ready to embrace socialism. Their ideological oppression within the party is ignored. The embracing of eco-socialism is the litmus test, being Green is not good enough.
