Humans are certainly failing at preserving their life support system but as Victor Hugo wrote, "If the soul is left in darkness, sins will be committed. The guilty one is not he who commits the sin, but the one who causes the darkness. " We have a system causing the darkness, the criminals who run it come and go but the usurious money system has lived on for centuries now. I am forever impressed with the art and architecture, the science and technology, the enormous wealth humans have created. The problem is we have a privatized system that extracts that wealth and concentrates it to the few at the top who use the power of accumulated money to control the world as much as they can to maximize profits for themselves. By changing the system from a private system issuing debt for money to a public system issuing asset money dedicated to the general welfare as its first use, we could reverse both the devastating physical and psychological consequences of usury in fairly short order. What we lack is the awareness needed to change the agreement. Love the Michael Mann quote, “There are the good tipping points, the tipping points in public consciousness when it comes to addressing this crisis, and I think we are very close to that.” I put my faith in that. monetaryalliance.org
