Real democracy is not authoritariansm and is not democracy at all if it is not egalitarian. Trump was elected as all Presidents are but that does not make the U.S. a democracy. Money manipulated elections do not a democracy make. We live in a plutocracy, not a democracy. Public policy does not serve the many, it serves the few. We have an unelected government that holds a charade every four years to elect front men.
