Right Scott, I don't think any Americans remember Putin's peace efforts, they were so completly ignored in favor of war. It could have all been avoided accept there was a big push for war from the financial industry, they like funding war becasue it is so profitable for them. That is why there is always money for war, but not healthcare or anything else for the people whom they consider expendibale 'marks." Ukraine's wealth has been on their radar for decades, the capitalists have long range plans to take all the wealth, as we should all know by now, and as long as they control the creation and allocation of money they will get their way. They don't care how many lives are lost, their focus is on profits only becasue profits increase their power. Meanwhile the extensive psychological engineering by their social managment system of schools and media keeps people ignorant of history, repressing creativity and critical thought, which has created a society of proud slaves unable to recognize propaganda and instead echo the Empire's official narrative.

Fortunately there are always escapees from the doctrinal system and I am forever impressed with the brilliance and creativity of those who can see and think. I hope there will be a mass exodus from the Empire's mind-lock combined with a collective epiphany that changes the paradigm in the next few years. I know it doesn't look good now but awareness is rising and, like evolution, things can change fast sometimes.
