This is the key change needed to have a democracy as it makes our elected officials responsible for the creation of money instead of the big private banks who now own our "elected" government. This would put elected government in charge of public policy instead of letting the financial corporations dictate public policy to the politicians they bought, all to maximize profits for the ruling class. Money is the governing factor. We need that before we can really accomplish anything at the national level so yes, "Stop voting for corporatist political parties" and insist on electing people dedicated to the public interest only. Also, the legislation is already written to do this and was introduced in 2011 by Kucinich (he was primaried out of his seat asap) It is the NEED Act HR2990, it contains the three reforms that must be done simultaneously to take the people's money system back. We NEED that bill passed. It is at the base of the Green Party platform in the US.
Also, there are numerous side issues that distract us, gender, climate change, immigration, war, etc., not to mention just trying to keep fed with a roof over our head. This is the key change that needs to be made so we can effectively address all those side issues because they are all life threatening. No side issue is going to fix the key issue, which is the money system. Yes, share this information widely and join the movement, monetaryalliance.org or greensformonetaryreform.org
