Umair, I agree with many of the comments below, such blanket statements as “all nationalisms end in fascism” is over the top and over simplified thinking. True, it has a bad reputation under the current system but nationalism under capitalism is nasty becasue the capitalists are fascists. Capitalists, those who dominate the control of capital are the worst of the worst people becasue they are infected with Wetiko, a psycho-spiritual disease that manifests as self-devouring greed. We have a society plagued with consumptive greed becasue we have a money system based on usury, the abuse of monetary authority for personal gain.

The many who imagine themselves to be capitalists, have embraced an intentionally watered down view of what capitalism is just becasue they are in business, believe it synonymous with “free enterprise.” But, free enterprise is what we will have once we get rid of capitalism. How can we do that? By embracing a nationalism that sees our nation as part of a global community that cares about all others. A nationalism that reclaims the economic sovereignty of the nation and removes the privilege of creating money out of the hands of the capitalists private global banking system. A nationalism that restores the rightful prerogative of democratic government to be the exclusive creator of each nation’s money to be spent for the common good of the nation and to restore control over their own resources and capital. A nationalism that generates thriving local economies and reduces trade to sensible proportions, only for things essential for general well-being. We have to stop shipping shit all over the world burning up our energy resources so capitalists can have more wealth which credit-for-money systematically concentrates to the wealthiest.

The privately controlled global monetary system of using credit for money has enslaved the world that it is destroying as fast as it can. Creating money for profit is usury which all the great religions and philosophers condemned for good reason. Money should ONLY be created by government for public purpose, the common good, created as an asset, not a debt, and spent into the bottom of the economy wherever the NEED is. A demand side economy works, a supply side economy exploits. We can replace an economics of greed with the economics of care. Taking care of oneself is not selfish, it is necessary for you be of any help to others, same goes for a nation. #occupytheneedact #theNeedAct #NeedAct
