While I am okay with making necessary amendments to clarify or update things, like that of Move to Amend or Monetary Reform. I think it would be better uphold it. The purpose of our government is mandated in the first sentence of the Preamble and Art. 1 provided the tools to accomplish that. However, the mandate was violated/ignored by Congress at the very beginning when they shirked their responsibility to be the sole creator of the nation's money, meaning not borrowed but issued as a debt-free asset to fund the needs of the nation, and instead Hamilton got it handed to private banks. When Congress handed exclusive control of the nation's monetary system to the banks in 1913 they ended democracy in our country and made Congress the mere minions of the banker/donor class. Money and power are two sides oft he same coin, should it be public or private? monetaryalliance.org
