The sovereignty I am referring to was established by the Constitution of We the People to create a sovereign nation, meaning it issues its own money, thus governs itself. The purpose of this is articulated in the first sentence. Article I Section 8 gives Congress the power to create and manage a permanently prosperous economy. Instead for over 200 years Congress has allowed the power to be usurped by private wealth who exploit everyone and everything for their own personal gain. So instead of democratic republic we got an oligarchic plutocracy.
